Russia Arrests Two Ukrainians for ‘Planning to Attack Nuke Power Plants’

MOSCOW: Russia’s security service on Thursday announced the detention of two Ukrainians who it claimed had planned to attack the country’s nuclear power plants.

Russian news agencies quoted the FSB as saying in a statement, “A sabotage group from the Ukrainian foreign intelligence service… attempted to blow up some 30 power lines of nuclear power plants in Kalinin and Leningrad in the first week of May to stop the nuclear reactors at the plants.
