ISLAMABAD: Pakistani rupee on Friday witnessed an 86-paisa devaluation against the US dollar in the interbank trading and closed at Rs295.77 against the previous day’s closing of Rs294.91.
However, the Forex Association of Pakistan said that the buying and selling prices s of the greenback in the open market were registered at Rs301.5 and Rs303.8, respectively.
Rupee against other currencies
The price of the Euro increased by 85 Paisa to close at Rs321.60 against the previous day’s closing of Rs320.75, according to the latest data released by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP).
The Japanese Yen increased by 02 Paisa and closed at Rs2.03, whereas a surge of 51 Paisa was registered in the exchange rate of the British Pound, which traded at Rs376.05 in contrast to the last closing of Rs375.54.
The exchange rate of the Emirates Dirham and the Saudi Riyal went up by 23 Paisa each to close at Rs80.52 and Rs78.86, respectively.
