LONDON: The UK-based leader of Akali Dil Gurcharan Singh has disclosed “RSS and BJP are hatching an organized conspiracy to pave the way for Hindu-Muslim Riots in the United Kingdom”. In an interview with We News, he said that men of RSS and BJP are being sent to the UK in the shape of students to incite Hindu-Muslim riots in the country.
Hindu-Muslim riots in UK
He added that communal riots were reported in Leicester and it is being viewed as the first step towards Hindu-Muslim riots. He said that men of RSS and BJP were sent to South Hall and these men chanted hate slogans to provoke people. He added that “the Government of the UK did not realize the conspiracy and issued one million student visas to men of RSS and BJP”, which will create issues in future. He said that these activists of RSS and BJP attack churches and mosques daily in India. He added that these people can also influence elections in London.
Gurcharan Singh said that Sikh political parties in the UK had devised a program for a protest on March 18 against the Indian army offensive in Indian Punjab as they wanted to lodge their protest against the action of the Indian army in Punjab. He added that they (Sikh community) feared that the Indian army wanted to carry out a massacre in Punjab in the context of the arrest of Amritpal Singh.
He said they (Sikh political parties) held protest demonstrations in front of 19 Indian embassies, including embassies in the UK, Canada and the US on March 19. He added that the Indian flag was removed from India’s High Commission in the UK during the protest. He said that the protestors replaced the Indian flag with the Khalistan flag at the High Commission in London. Gurcharan Singh added that cases were registered against them for holding protests and removing the flag of India. He said that the Sikh activists held protests in front of 19 embassies in one day. He termed it a major success for Sikh activists.
Khalistan referendum
To a question, he said that Amritpal Singh is very popular and he was detained without any case. The Sikh leader said that one lakh army personnel were deployed in Punjab to arrest Amritpal Singh. He said that the Indian government is making an attempt to prove them as terrorists as the impact of Sikh activists’ protests in London was felt across the world.
He said that the entire world realized the referendum in support of Khalistan. He said there is a lot of support for Khalistan in Indian Punjab, and they could hold a massive protest in Punjab as per their wish. He added that even the protest in Indian Punjab would be huge than the protest in Europe. Gurcharan Singh said that they would win with a massive majority in ten states, including Punjab, Haryana, and Rajasthan, in the referendum.
He said that the people in these areas have been suppressed by the Indian army. He said that Sidhu Moose Wala was also killed in Indian Punjab. Gurcharan Singh said that Indian extremist Prime Minister Narendra Modi is altering the constitution, parliament and name of the country. He added that Christians, Muslims and other religious minorities are living in India, and they would not accept a Hindu state. He added that the rest of the communities should raise their voices for their own rights in India. Otherwise, they would suffer. He said that Sikh, Kashmiri and people of Manipur have been fighting for their rights. He asked the people of UP, Bihar and Bengal to raise voices for their rights.
