Indore (India): South Africa trounced India by 49 runs in the third and last T20 match of the series at Holkar Cricket Stadium, Indore India on Tuesday night, as Rilee Rossouw hit sparkling unbeaten ton (100) that helped Proteas to pile-up 237 runs in 20 overs per inning competition.
India started the campaign in the last T20 of three-match rubber with bowling after winning the toss, as they had a lead 2-0 in the series. Rossouw played a notable inning of 100 not out, as he faced only 48 balls and hit 8 sixes and 7 fours to take South Africa’s total 237 runs in 20 over. Left hander wicketkeeper batter Quinton de Kock scored 68 runs in 43 balls with six fours and four huge sixes. Deepak Chahar (1 for 48), Umesh Yadav and Deepak Chahar shared one wicket a piece after giving 38 and 34 runs respectively.
As hosts India went to chase a big total of 238 runs in 20 overs with the average of over 11 runs per over. Skipper Rohit Sharma lost his wicket on the second bowl, when he was clean bowled by Rabada and put his team in hot water.
