PESHAWAR: The snow-clearing operation continued on Tuesday in Tirah Valley, district Khyber with significant progress in clearing most of the main roads for traffic.
Deputy Commissioner Sanaullah Khan reported that heavy snowfall had cut off numerous villages in the valley. However, thanks to the concerted efforts of the C&W and Highways Department employing tractors and heavy machinery, the main highways have been successfully cleared.
Khan noted that several roads, including Khawajal Khel, Barkamber Khel, and Madrasa Road, had been obstructed by snow and were currently undergoing clearance operations.
He reassured that the clearance efforts would persist until all roads are reopened for traffic, ensuring connectivity throughout the valley. –APP
