RIYADH: The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is to host a meeting for national security advisers and representatives of a number of nations on the Ukrainian conflict in Jeddah on Saturday, Arab media reported on Friday.
Riyadh to Host Ukrainian Crisis Summit on Saturday
According to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), hosting the summit marks a continuation of the humanitarian efforts by Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman, and the communications between the Crown Prince, Ukrainian and Russian leaders since the early days of the conflict.
In a statement, Ukrainian leader Zelensky said he was grateful to Riyadh for the platform for talks.
Zelensky said in a statement posted on social media: “Tomorrow in Jeddah, a meeting about the Peace Formula will start”.

The government of Saudi Arabia hopes that the summit will contribute to reinforcing talks and cooperation by exchanging views, and deliberations at the global level on the means to ensure a settlement for the crisis via political and diplomatic means, and in a way that strengthens global peace and security, sparing the globe further humanitarian, economic and security consequences.
