RIYADH: Under the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the 8th edition of the Future Investment Initiative will be organized from October 29 to 31, 2024, in Riyadh at the King Abdulaziz International Conference Center, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.
FII8 is likely to attract 6,000 delegates, with 500 speakers addressing timely topics in over 200 sessions. According to the SPA, the event will take place under the theme “Infinite Horizons: Investing Today, Shaping Tomorrow.” The theme, “Infinite Horizons: Investing Today, Shaping Tomorrow,” will spark debates on how investment can drive a sustainable and prosperous future, growing the limits of what is possible for humanity.
Future Investment Initiative
Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and board member of the FII Institute, Richard Attias, highlighted the importance of the theme, saying, “Our theme, Infinite Horizons, points to the limitless prospects that the future offers and how, together, we can take benefit of the changes happening under our feet to make a better world. Infinite Horizons will drive conversations leading to a future where investment knows no bounds for the good of all.”
International leaders, including heads of state, financiers, industry captains, and thought leaders, will gather to discuss subjects like the economic role of Global South nations, the role of women in leadership, economic challenges, climate change, investment, and harnessing technology to ensure human flourishing. Discussions and debates will also cover economic stability, artificial intelligence, innovation, equitable development, and health.
As in past years, the conversations will be driven by data, prioritizing objective insights over subjective opinions.
