RIYADH: Saudi Arabia’s Riyadh Season has attracted more than 3 million visitors in just 35 days, marking one of its strongest turnouts since the festival started.
According to the Saudi Press Agency, this surge in attendance over just 35 days highlights the festival’s growing popularity.
Visitor numbers across the Riyadh Season zones have increased in recent days, fueled by strong interest in major international attractions and events.
First launched on October 11, 2019, the annual festival is created under the General Entertainment Authority’s Saudi Seasons initiative to transform Riyadh into a global destination for entertainment, culture, and sports.
Spread across 13 themed zones and covering nearly 14 million square meters, Riyadh Season features six categories of activities, including entertainment, exploration, and diverse dining experiences.
This year’s edition opened with a grand parade showcasing floats from New York City’s iconic Macy’s Thanksgiving celebration, highlighting the growing entertainment partnership between Saudi Arabia and the United States.
Collaborations such as the Macy’s parade and the MrBeast-backed Beast Land theme park highlight the Kingdom’s efforts to build a sustainable, world-class entertainment ecosystem.
The “Ana Arabia” exhibition, in its most prominent edition this year, has also attracted significant attendance since day one. It offers extensive experiences that bring together regional female designers and entrepreneurs in a format that appeals to art and innovation enthusiasts.
Riyadh Season is also making history as the first venue outside the US and Canada to host WWE’s Royal Rumble. WWE SmackDown will kick off the excitement on Friday, January 30, followed by the Royal Rumble on Saturday, January 31.
The festival continues to draw major sports events, including the Six Kings Slam, which brought top tennis stars—among them Novak Djokovic—to the ANB Arena.
Riyadh Season continues to strengthen its position as the region’s largest entertainment platform through global partnerships and diverse offerings across sports, arts, culture, shopping, and leisure.
