ISLAMABAD: Arab leaders landed in Saudi Arabia on Thursday to attend Arab-China Summit for Cooperation and Development in Riyadh.
According to Arab News, President of Egypt Abdel Fattah El-Sisi was the first to arrive in Riyadh. He was welcomed at King Khalid International Airport by Prince Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of Riyadh.
Crown Prince of Kuwait Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah also reached Saudi Arabia to attend Arab and Gulf-Chinese summits in the country.
Meanwhile, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman warmly welcomed China’s President Xi Jinping at Al-Yamamah Palace in Riyadh, where an official ceremony was held. President Xi arrived in Saudi Arabia on Wednesday as part of a three-day visit to Saudi Arabia to attend a Saudi-Chinese summit in the Kingdom, which will run until December

Riyadh Hosts Arab-China Summit
The Chinese President will also attend Gulf-China Summit and Arab-China Summit for Cooperation and Development during his stay in Saudi Arabia.
Reports said that China–Arab States Cooperation Forum will enhance Arab-Chinese cooperation in economic, political, cultural, media and development fields. Reports said that Arab-China Summit adds “momentum to the relations between the two sides.

According to Arab News, economic ties between the two countries were steadily increasing as the volume of trade exchange between China and Arab countries has risen to about 330 billion US dollars in 2021 from about 36 billion dollars.
