RIYADH: Assistant Secretary General of the Saudi Health Council, Dr. Moatazbellah Alruwaithi, inaugurated the Saudi Society of Medical Genetics (SSMG) Conference 2023 on Friday. The conference, which started on September 28 and ended today, has attracted a diverse international audience, including pediatricians, geneticists, metabolism specialists, genetic researchers, laboratory technicians, and genetic counselors.
In his address, Dr. Alruwaithi expressed gratitude to the Kingdom’s leadership for their unwavering support of the healthcare sector, with a particular emphasis on genetic medicine. He underscored the conference’s significance in fostering the exchange of expertise and encouraging societal participation.
