The countries will make efforts to achieve development and eliminate inequality and poverty by creating jobs, promoting investment, and economic progress. The summit will discuss mechanisms to address common challenges and projects to adopt best practices to deal with macroeconomic crises.
The forum will also discuss ways to promote investment and trade. Saudi Arabia’s participation aims to identify investment opportunities with member states, explore options for strategic cooperation, attract foreign direct investment and open new venues and markets for Saudi Arabia’s exports.
Saudi Arabia also wants to coordinate with member states of Africa to deal the challenge like climate change. OACPS was established as per the Georgetown agreement in 1975. Seventy-nine countries from the Caribbean, Africa, and the Pacific are members of the OACPS. APP
