PESHAWAR: The repatriation of Afghan nationals residing illegally in Pakistan continues, with border authorities reporting that 474,264 individuals have returned as of the latest update on Wednesday.
On the specific day in question, 708 Afghan citizens returned to their home country, comprising 194 men, 156 women, and 358 children. The repatriation effort utilized 73 vehicles to facilitate the return of 96 families to Afghanistan.
This ongoing initiative is committed to aiding the return of Afghan nationals who had been residing unlawfully in Pakistan. Authorities emphasize that the repatriation process is still underway, and every possible facility is being provided to support the returning Afghans. —APP
