ISLAMABAD: Globally renowned senior media practitioner Dr Javed Ahmed Raza, Director Metabolic Surgical Unit, Cleveland Abudhabi, visited The Diabetes Centre (TDC) in Islamabad on Friday.
The guest from the UAE was given a warm welcome by Brig (retd) Dr Muhammad Ajmal Khan, along with the TDC team.
Dr Javed Ahmed Raza, who also runs a charitable institute in Muzafarabad, met chair TDC Dr Asjad Hameed and shared views of mutual interest.
The chairman briefed the guest about the hospital’s future plans and urged collaborations in this regard.
The guest was taken on a tour of the hospital, where he was shown various departments and their operations.
Combating diabetes
Dr Javed Raza lauded TDC’s relentless efforts in creating awareness and combating diabetes, thus saving the precious lives of innumerable patients.
The TDC management thanked Dr Javed Raza for coming to the hospital and for his resolve to work together for a diabetes-free Pakistan.
