ISLAMABAD: The wife of jailed Kashmiri Hurriyat Leader Yasin Malik and Chairperson of Peace and Culture Organization, Mushaal Hussein Mullick on Saturday urged the world community to understand that regional peace was not possible without the just resolution of the Kashmir dispute between Pakistan and India.
Mushaal Hussein Mullick was addressing a ceremony in connection with World Human Rights Day organized by the Islamabad Bar Council. Office bearers of bar councils and several lawyers attended the event.
Peace in Kashmir vital for world
While referring to the Indian forces’ atrocities in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu & Kashmir (IIOJK), Mushaal Hussein Mullick said that humans were being treated worse than animals in the occupied valley.
Mushaal said pellet guns were also used by the Indian forces on Kashmiris.
She said the UN emphasized human rights around the world but, unfortunately, it was completely quiet on the violation of human rights in the occupied valley.
