ISLAMABAD: Today, I am excited to explore a delicious dish called Creamy & Smooth Chicken Achari Handi. It’s a unique recipe that combines together the goodness of cream and powerful flavours of Achari spices. The result is a fantastic combination of taste that’s truly heavenly.

Ingredients for Achari Masala:
Nigella seeds 1 tbsp
Fennel seeds 1 tbsp
Coriander seeds 1 tbsp
Dried fenugreek seeds 1 tbsp
Red chili flakes 1 tbsp
Red chili powder 1 tbsp
Ingredients for Chicken Achari Handi:
Green chilies 9-10
Prepared achari masala
Oil 1/4 cup
Boneless chicken (cubes) 1 kg
Cumin seeds 1 tbsp
Onion (chopped) 1 cup
Tomato puree 1 ½ cup
Red chili powder 1 ½ tbsp
Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
Salt 1 tsp
Prepared dry achari masala 1 tbsp
Yogurt 1 cup
Dairy Cream 1 pack
Hot Water 1 cup
Green Coriander (for garnish) as required
DIRECTIONS:
In the first step, add nigella seeds, fennel seeds, coriander seeds, dried fenugreek seeds, red chili flakes, red chili powder, and salt in a grinder and grind it well. Then, transfer it into a bowl and add lemon juice and mix well and set aside. In the next step, take green chillies and slit them to deseed. Fill them with prepared achari masala. Then, in a pan heat oil, cumin seeds, onion, and fry until translucent.Add boneless chicken and cook until colour changes. Add tomato puree, red chilli powder, dry achari masala, turmeric powder, salt, and cook for 3-4 minutes. Then, add yogurt and cook until oil separates. Add stuffed green chilies, water, and cook for 3-4 minutes. At last add dairy cream and cook for 1-2 minutes.
Dish it out and garnish it with green coriander. Your Chicken Achari Handi is ready.
