ANKARA: Real Madrid signed England central midfielder Jude Bellingham from Borussia Dortmund in Germany; the Spanish club announced on Wednesday.
Real Madrid said in a statement that the Whites had completed the signing of Bellingham on a 6-year agreement.
It said the 19-year-old player will talk to the media at his official presentation tomorrow (Thursday).
The star footballer played for Borussia Dortmund in 2020-2023, where he won a German Cup.
He scored twenty-four goals and made twenty-five assists in 132 matches for Dortmund.
In May, he was named the German Bundesliga Player of the 2022-23 season, even though Dortmund failed to win the title against the defending champions Bayern Munich in the last week of the league.
Before his 3-year spell in Germany, Bellingham also played for England’s Birmingham City.
Separately, a starter in the English national side, Bellingham played for the Three Lions in the UEFA EURO 2020 organised in 2021 summer to grab a silver medal.
Jude Bellingham’s International Career
Bellingham, who played twenty-four international matches, was an England regular in the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
