Rawalpindi Reports 57 New Dengue Cases

RAWALPINDI: In the past 24 hours, 57 new cases were recorded in Rawalpindi, bringing the total number of patients receiving treatment in allied hospitals to 100.

According to the latest report from the District Health Authority (DHA), the total number of positive cases this year has reached 501. During the last 24 hours, 27 patients were reported from Pothohar Town alone, while the Rawalpindi Cantonment Board areas recorded 9 dengue cases in a single day.

The district administration, in collaboration with allied departments, has mandated strict enforcement of dengue SOPs. Efforts for surveillance and response have been significantly intensified to prevent a large-scale outbreak.
