ISLAMABAD: The evidence of India’s links to terrorism in Balochistan is steadily increasing, according to well-placed security sources.

They say that following its defeat in the Marka-e-Haq—the official name given to the recent Pak-India conflict—India has openly resumed using its proxies to create havoc in Balochistan.

The sources state that these terrorists are targeting innocent civilians, including children and women, in Balochistan, following a well-organised plan. “The plan is illustrated by the attacks on the Jaffar Express train, the Army Public School Bus in Khuzdar, Surab, as well.”

After each attack, Pakistan’s security is further undermined by the immediate propaganda campaigns launched by Indian electronic and social media organisations. The use of fake news, as well as Artificial Intelligence-generated images, videos, and documentaries, is cited as evidence of the lack of credibility in the Research and Analysis Wing (RAW)’s efforts—supported by numerous social media accounts.

Collectively, these points to clear and substantial evidence of India’s involvement in sponsoring and orchestrating terrorist activities in Balochistan—activities that undermine Pakistan’s internal stability and peace.

Last month, Pakistan military spokesperson, Director General ISPR Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry said India has activated its “assets” to intensify terrorist attacks in Pakistan, presenting “irrefutable evidence” of Indian state-sponsored terrorism, directed by the Indian military personnel.

“Because of the designs of terrorism that they have, they tasked all their assets, the terrorists operating in Balochistan, and we have credible intelligence for that, the Fitna-al-Khawarij and the independent terrorist cells … to increase their activity,” he had said, using the state-designated term for the banned TTP.

Pakistan has witnessed an uptick in terror activities, especially in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan.
