ABU DHABI: The bigwigs of Bollywood industry were present in the IIFA Awards 2024 ceremony. Movie enthusiasts were particularly eager to find out which film would take home the Best Film award.
As anticipated by many, “Animal” clinched the title, thanks to Ranbir Kapoor’s compelling and intense performance. The legendary star Shah Rukh Khan was awarded Best Actor for his role in “Jawan,” while Rani Mukerji received Best Actress for her performance in “Mrs. Chatterjee vs Norway.”
Vidhu Vinod Chopra was recognized with the Best Director award for “12th Fail,” celebrated for its unique storyline that steered clear of clichéd concepts. Hema Malini won the Outstanding Achievement Award in Indian Cinema Award for her remarkable contributions to the industry. Additionally, Alizeh Agnihotri was named Best Debut Actress of the Year.
The ceremony also featured unforgettable performances from stars like Shahid Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal, and Kriti Sanon, who wowed the audience with their impressive dance routines.
