ISLAMABAD: Rana Tanveer Hussain, Minister for Education and Professional Training, on Tuesday said that international education systems were focusing on skills education as compared to formal education and Pakistan should focus to empower youth with skills for the development and prosperity of the country.
Government to bear education expenses of students
Addressing the classes inauguration at the National Skills University Islamabad (NSU)- Muridke Campus, Sheikhupura, he said that government would bore the expenses of 250 students in the first batch and future educational expenses.
Initially, NSU has started 6-month skill training programs including Industrial stitching, Mobile phone repair technicians, Microsoft Office applications, Solar system technicians, and Domestic and industrial electricians.
