KARACHI/ISLAMABAD: The Sindh government School Education and Literacy Department has issued revised timings for all educational institutions in the province during the holy month of Ramazan.
All Sindh government and private schools will start at 7:30 am and continue till 12 pm from Monday to Thursday and on Saturdays.
The school timings on Friday would be from 7:30 am to 11 am.
Office timings
The federal government notified timings for public offices during the holy month.
In a notification, the Establishment Division said that the public offices coming under the ambit of the federal government would operate from 7:30 am to 1:30 pm from Monday to Thursday.
The public offices coming under the ambit of the central government will operate from 7:30 am to 12:00 pm on Fridays.
First Ramazan expected on March 23
The Pakistan Meteorological Department forecast that the crescent is expected to be sighted on the evening of March 22.
The update was shared by the Met department’s Climate Data Processing Centre. This means the first of the holy month is likely to fall on Thursday, March 23, in Pakistan.
