RIYADH: The chief of the General Presidency for the affairs of the Holy Mosques, Sheikh Abdulrahman Al-Sudais said on Monday that the two Holy Mosques, the Grand Mosque in Makkah, and the Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah will receive millions of visitors during the holy month of Ramadan.

He said that all elevators, stairs, guidance services, sound systems as well as technical services have been equipped and arranged to receive the millions of visitors during the holy month of Ramadan.

Muslims from across the world and within Saudi Arabia will visit the two holy mosques, particularly during the last 10 days of Ramadan, to perform Umrah, pray taraweeh, and pay their respects to the Prophet (SAW).

The department of the affairs of the holy Mosques said it struggles to provide the best services and coordinate with the relevant authorities and officials so that visitors and pilgrims can carry out their worship with ease and comfort.
