ISLAMABAD: In the coming twelve hours, the Potohar region, upper Punjab, northeast Balochistan, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Kashmir are likely to experience episodes of rain, wind, and thundershowers.

Meanwhile, a divergent weather pattern is expected to prevail across the rest of the country, characterized by hot and humid conditions.

The early morning temperature readings paint a vivid picture of the diverse weather conditions across major cities. Islamabad reported a temperature of twenty-three degrees Celsius, while Lahore, Peshawar, and Murree registered slightly higher temperatures at twenty-five degrees Celsius. The coastal city of Karachi experienced a mild start at twenty-seven degrees Celsius. Moving towards the west, Quetta recorded a temperature of twenty-two degrees Celsius, whereas Gilgit stood at nineteen degrees Celsius, and Muzaffarabad was at twenty-one degrees Celsius.

Meanwhile, Pulwama, Anantnag, Shpian, and Baramula are projected to experience cloudy weather, accompanied by potential episodes of rain, wind, and thundershowers.

As the day unfolds in IIOJK, the temperature readings set the tone for the local weather dynamics. Srinagar reported a temperature of seventeen degrees Celsius, while Jammu started the day slightly warmer at twenty-four degrees Celsius. In Leh, the morning was noticeably cooler with the temperature standing at nine degrees Celsius. The southern region of IIOJK, including Pulwama and Shopian, began the day at sixteen degrees Celsius. Moving northward, Anantnag and Baramulla reported a morning temperature of fifteen degrees Celsius.
