ISLAMABAD: Rain-wind/thundershower is likely in Kashmir, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, upper and central Punjab, Islamabad, northeast Balochistan and Gilgit-Baltistan during the next 12 hours, Pakistan Met Office forecasts on Wednesday.
Hot and humid
According to the Met Office, hot and humid weather is expected to prevail in the southern areas of the country on Wednesday.
The Met Office said that Islamabad has received 91 mm of rain at Saidpur, while 81 mm rain has been recorded in Rawalpindi at Shamsabad during the last 24 hours. In Rawalpindi, New Kattarian has received 75 mm, Pirwidahi 49 mm, Gawalmandi 42 mm, Katcheri 27mm and Chaklala 19 mm rain during the period.
Mandi Bahauddin has received 49 mm, Mangla 48 mm, Gujrat 42 mm, Sialkot Airport 39 mm, and Gujranwala 39 mm rainfall, the Met Office said.
The Met Office said that in Kashmir, 75 mm rainfall has been recorded in Kotli during the last 24 hours.
In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 25 mm rain has been recorded in Mardan while Risalpur has received in 22 mm rain.
