ISLAMABAD/PESHAWAR: On the special instructions of Divisional Superintendent (DS) Peshawar Nasir Khalili, the Railway Land Department on Thursday initiated a major crackdown against encroachers and got precious land of Railways worth Rs 85.59 million vacated in the Mardan section.
Illegal Construction on 5.5 kanals on Railway land removed.
According to the office of DS Railways Peshawar, a team of Railways led by Railway Law Officer Nasir Khan and other relevant staff, including IOW Nowshera Danish Khan, AEN Nowshera Shehryar, Land Inspector Majid Khan Railways police, and PWI Nowshera Nowroz, removed illegal construction on 5.5 kanals in Rashakai.
During the anti-encroachment operation, 62 illegally constructed shops were also sealed on Railways’ land. The Railways authorities decided to continue this anti-encroachment operation in Peshawar Division, to remove illegal constructions and set up on the ground.
