ISLAMABAD/RAMALLAH: The Palestinian Health Ministry has said the Israeli forces martyred 3 Palestinians during an early raid in the occupied West Bank on Thursday.
Israel steps up raids
The Israeli forces attacked Jenin town and its refugee camp in the northern West Bank. The place is a stronghold for Palestinian people, and in recent months Israel has stepped up attacks there. Palestinian media said that confrontations and violent clashes erupted between the people of Jenin and the Israeli army.
A Palestinian news agency also shared footage on social media showing an ambulance hit by Israeli army gunshots in Jenin. Photos circulating on news and social media showed two of the three Palestinians were martyred, posing with rifles. More than 140 Palestinians have been martyred between Israeli and Palestinian fighting in east Jerusalem and West Bank this year.
