Quake Hits Iraq-Iran Borderline

BAGHDAD: A magnitude 5 earthquake hit the Iraq-Iran borderline, local media reported on Thursday. The Iraqi state-run news agency INA said that the quake struck Iraqi-Iranian bordering areas.

The news agency further said that no loss of life or property was reported in the area after the quake. The official Twitter account of INA stated that the earthquake struck the provinces of Halabja, Sulaymaniyah, and Kirkuk.
