DOHA: Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani has received Minister of Media Salman Al-Dossary in Doha and discussed ways to enhance cooperation, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Sunday.
Chairman of Qatar Media Corporation Sheikh Hamad bin Thamer Al Thani and Saudi Ambassador to Qatar Prince Mansour bin Khalid bin Farhan were also present at the meeting.
The two sides during the meeting, reviewed ties and discussed ways to boost cooperation, particularly in joint media initiatives.
In a significant move to strengthen media ties, Acting President of the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) Ali Alzaid and Director-General of Qatar News Agency Ahmed bin Saeed Al Rumaihi have signed a framework agreement for cooperation and news exchange between their respective agencies.

The agreement aims to hold training programs in editing and photography, and artificial intelligence in news production, promote modern technology and facilitate the exchange of expertise. It also aims to strengthen greater collaboration through the exchange of visits and the preparation of news and photographic content highlighting achievements, events, and national occasions in both nations.
