RAWALPINDI: Qatar Emiri Naval Ship ALKHOR has visited Karachi, the military’s media wing said on Friday. According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), upon arrival, the Ship was warmly welcomed by Pakistan Navy officers and sailors.
The ISPR said that a joint exercise Asad Al Bahr was also conducted between the ships of the two sides.
The ISPR added that during the visit, Commanding Officer of the QEN Ship paid homage at Mazar-e-Quaid. He also called on Commander Pakistan Fleet Vice Admiral Faisal Abbasi. During the meeting, they discussed bilateral cooperation and matters of mutual interests. The visit will further enhance defense and diplomatic relations between the two brotherly countries, the ISPR added. It is a historical milestone as the ship of Qatari Navy has arrived Pakistan after 36 years.
