DOHA: Qatar will host the 9th Ministerial Conference of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) on Food Security and Agricultural Development on 1-2 October 2023 in Doha under the theme “Towards Achieving the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals in OIC Member States”.
The event aims to discuss the current state of agriculture and food security in the OIC member nations, identify priorities, and create a consensus on how to address the challenges related to enhancing food security in the bloc.

Conference to Review OIC Institutions’ Working
The gathering will also review the activities of the Islamic Organization for Food Security and other OIC institutions working in the domains of rural development, agriculture, and food security.
At the conclusion of the event, the ministers from OIC member nations will adopt a resolution reflecting the decisions and outcomes reached in Doha.
