MOSCOW: Russian President Vladimir Putin on Wednesday extended his best wishes to Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev on his birthday through a congratulatory telegram published on the Kremlin website.
Putin praised Mirziyoyev for earning widespread respect domestically and internationally during his tenure as president. He acknowledged Uzbekistan’s significant achievements in social, economic, and global arenas under Mirziyoyev’s leadership.
The Russian president emphasized Mirziyoyev’s personal contribution to advancing strategic partnership and allied relations between Russia and Uzbekistan, across various spheres of bilateral cooperation.
