MOSCOW: President of Russia Vladimir Putin on Monday accused the West of the crisis in the Middle East, where Israel is bombing the Gaza Strip adding that the US wants global chaos.
In a televised statement to a meeting of members of his Security Council and the government and the heads of law enforcement agencies, he said the US ruling elite and their satellites are behind the killing of Palestinians in Gaza and behind events in Iraq, Syria and Ukraine.
Putin blames US for Middle East chaos
Putin blamed the United States for being responsible for the deadly chaos unfolding in the Middle East.
He asked who is organizing the deadly chaos and who benefits from it today. He said in his opinion the current ruling elites of the US and their satellites are the main beneficiaries of instability in the world.
He also accused Western intelligence agencies and Ukraine of creating trouble in Dagestan, where a mob on Sunday attempted to stop passengers at an airport who just arrived from Israel.
Putin also directed the local authorities to take firm actions, after anti-Israel rioters stormed the airport.
He asked the heads of all regions, heads of law enforcement agencies and special services to take timely and clear actions to protect Russia’s constitutional order and the rights and freedoms of citizens.
Meanwhile, China has called for the full implementation of the resolution passed by the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) that demands an immediate, durable, and sustained humanitarian truce in Gaza.
