ANKARA: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan will meet his counterpart Vladimir Putin in Russia’s resort of Sochi on 4 September to primarily discuss Black Sea grain exports.
The two leaders will discuss the aftermath of the war in Ukraine as well as an agreement that allowed the export of Ukrainian grain via the Black Sea, according to media reports.
Black Sea Grain Agreement
The Black Sea grain agreement, brokered by Turkiye and the United Nations (UN) in 2022, ended after Moscow withdrew in July.
Ankara has since sought to convince Moscow to return to the deal.
