LAHORE: A 20-year-old, Zohaib Anwar, a student of Punjab University, died in Mayo Hospital due to illness on Thursday.
Late Zohaib was a student of BS in the College of Pharmacy and was residing in Khalid Bin Waleed Hostel in Old Campus. He was having fever in the morning and was shifted to Mayo Hospital at 8 am today (Thursday) for treatment.

The parents of the deceased have been informed by the administration. Vice-Chancellor Dr. Asghar Zaidi has expressed grief over the death of the student and said that Zohaib was a brilliant student. “We are heartbroken over Zohaib’s death, may Allah raise the ranks of the deceased in Jannat al-Firdous,” Dr. Asghar prayed.
