LAHORE: Punjab government has announced the recruitment of 25,000 new teachers in schools across the province in 2023.
The induction of new teachers in the provincial education department was decided in a meeting of the cabinet where Chief Minister Punjab Chaudhary Pervaiz Elahi had authorized to initiate the process as early as possible.
Teachers’ scales
Teachers will be appointed in all 41 districts of the province. New posts will be designated as ESE PBS 14, SESE BPS 15, and SSE BPS 16.
ESE teachers will be appointed in the elementary schools, SESE will be posted in the middle while SSE teachers will be appointed in the high and intermediate schools. The minimum qualification for the above posts is a Master’s Degree in Science or Arts subjects.
