ISLAMABAD: The Punjab Government has launched an immediate investigation into a citizen’s complaint of experiencing an adverse reaction to an injection administered to a patient.
This action was prompted by the directives of Caretaker Federal Health Minister Dr. Nadeem Jan, who took notice of the complaint filed by a resident of Kasur.

According to a spokesperson from the Ministry, the federal minister contacted Punjab Provincial Health Minister Dr. Javed Ikram via telephone.
The Punjab government has established a five-member committee to investigate the matter thoroughly. The committee has commenced its inquiry from all possible angles.
Dr. Nadeem Jan has assured that the government will take all necessary measures to ensure a transparent investigation into the incident.
Dr. Nadeem said that they are in close coordination with the provincial government and closely monitoring the situation.
