ISLAMABAD: As many as thirty-five oxen from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Punjab provinces took part in the Ox Cultural Festival in Swabi’s Marghuz area on Wednesday. The event was organized by the District Sports Department. The ox owned by Punjab’s Dilwar bagged the position.
The second position went to the ox owned by Pervaiz, who hails from Swabi while the ox owned by Nisar from Chach Hazroo came third.
Ox cultural festival to boost inter-provincial sports
Trophies and cash prizes were distributed at the end of the event by Sports Officer Tariq Mohammad.
Tariq Mohammad said that the ox cultural festival’s aim was to promote sports activities among provinces.
