RAWALPINDI: Punjab Pavilion caught all eyes at Lok Mela in Punjab National Council of Arts, with it almost 50 stalls engaging as many as 100 skilled artisans.
Punjab Arts Council spokesperson Muhammad Salman said on Sunday that Punjab is the land of beautiful rivers and it has a centuries-old attractive culture. He said that different cultural items were displayed at the mela including pottery, calk, Dar, Khas, gotaknari, stone art, ivory, textile, metal, etc.
Shahada Bibi, Hajran Bibi, Asma Zahoor, Ibrahim Alam, Zeeshan Rashid, Surya Abdullah, Kaneez Fatima, Zulfikar Ali, and many more artists displayed their items which attracted a number of visitors.

The festival also entertained visitors with traditional Punjabi foods chaati ki lassi, butter, cornbread, greens, and other popular edibles.
Foreigner visitors also showed interest in the Punjab Pavilion in the Lok Mela. –APP
