LAHORE: At least 10 people were killed and 1,051 wounded in 1,013 road accidents in Pakistan’s Punjab province in the last 24 hours.
The victims of the accidents include 516 drivers – 24 of whom were underage, 108 pedestrians and 424 passengers, said Rescue 1122.
Lahore tops the list at least 10 Killed
According to the statistics, 251 accidents were reported in Lahore which affected 258 people, placing the provincial capital at the top of the list in Punjab, followed by 75 in Faisalabad with 78 victims and Multan with 70 accidents and 75 victims.
The data further said that 877 motorcycles, 76 rickshaws, 97 cars, 30 vans, 12 buses, 21 trucks and 83 other vehicles, besides slow-moving carts, suffered from the accidents. – APP
