LAHORE: Summer vacations in all schools across Punjab will commence on June 6 and conclude on August 20, the school education secretary announced on Wednesday.
Last week, the government of Sindh announced that the summer vacations for educational institutions in the province would be observed from the first of June to July 31.
The Sindh provincial education secretary said that the dates for the summer vacations have been announced as per the decision made by a steering committee for educational institutes.
It should be noted that a decision was taken in the steering committee meeting on education held earlier this year.
The announcement applies to all private and public institutions under the provincial administrative control of the School Education and Literacy Department Government of Sindh.
