PTI Launches Election Outreach Campaign Ahead of General Elections in Pakistan

LONDON: With an eye on the upcoming general election slated for February 8, 2024, Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI) leader and former federal minister for overseas Pakistanis, Zulfi Bukhari, announced the launch of a campaign to engage with PTI workers in various cities of the United Kingdom.

The campaign, unveiled on Monday, as Zulfi Bukhari said that he will be personally visiting cities in the UK and Europe.

Addressing a workers’ convention in High Wycombe, Zulfi Bukhari outlined the roadmap for the outreach effort. The convention, held at the residence of PTI leader Aamir Jahangir, saw the participation of workers from different cities across Britain, including London and Birmingham.

PTI to Start Contact Campaign in UK

During his address, Zulfi Bukhari revealed that the contact campaign in the UK is scheduled to kick off next month. He expressed his intent to tour European countries, mobilizing support and conducting fundraising activities for the upcoming general elections in Pakistan.

The strategy, Zulfi Bukhari noted, is under formulation to commence the election campaign in Punjab simultaneously, with leaders coordinating their return to Pakistan.

Zulfi Bukhari also answered questions from the workers. The event also featured an address by Sahibzada Amir Jahangir.
