ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court of Pakistan Thursday is hearing intra-court appeals against the annulment of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) law amendments, local media reported on Thursday.

The appeals are being heard by a five-member larger bench headed by Chief Justice Qazi Faez Isa and comprising Justice Jamal Khan Mandokhail, Justice Aminuddin, Justice Hasan Azhar Rizvi and Justice Athar Minallah.  Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan also appeared in the case via video link from the Adiala jail, Rawalpindi.

During the last hearing, the apex court had asked lawyer Khawaja Haris to meet his client in the jail. A three-member Supreme Court bench had declared NAB law amendments null and void on PTI founder plea. The federal government has also filed intra-court appeal against the decision of the three-member bench.
