PTA’s CSC Received Average 32,000 Calls per Month

ISLAMABAD: The Customer Support Center (CSC) of the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA), which was created for the effective recording and management of consumer complaints regarding telecom services, received over 1,100 calls per day, or 32,000 calls every month.

According to PTA’s annual report, in February 2022, the authority started its Consumer Support Center (CSC; Toll-Free Number 0800-55055) for registration of consumer complaints related to telecom services (CMOS), ISPs, WLL, FLL, web content (pornography, blasphemy, mobile handset blocking and unblocking, Device Identification, Registration, and Blocking System (DIRBS).

The facility reflects PTA’s dedication to offering high-quality services to consumers. The toll-free number operates continuously from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. throughout the year. For the upcoming year, PTA will keep improving CSC to serve telecom users better.
