PSL-8: Multan Sultans Defeat Karachi Kings

ISLAMABAD: Multan Sultans won by 3 runs against Karachi Kings in the 11th match of the Pakistan Super League (PSL-8) at Multan Cricket Stadium on Wednesday.

Earlier, Multan Sultans’ skipper Mohammad Rizwan headed his side, scoring a 64-ball 110 to power his Sultans to 196-2 against the Kings at Multan Cricket Stadium.

In the 1st powerplay, Sultans plundered fifty. The partnership between skipper Rizwan and Masood had flown along to 85 until Masood was removed by Shoaib Malik.

Both Rossouw and Rizwan stitched a partnership of 109 runs off 56 balls. Muhammad Rizwan scored 77 runs while Rossouw scored 29 runs off 21 balls.

Rossouw smashed several big boundaries. After Rossouw departed, Pollard joined Muhammad Rizwan and remained unbeaten with the skipper. Malik took just one wicket against Sultans.
