LAHORE: Lahore Qalandars will today play host to Quetta Gladiators at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore in the 18th fixture of the eighth edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL 8). The last time the two sides clashed, Lahore won by 63 runs with Qalandars skipper Shaheen Shah Afridi taking 3 for 22.
Gladiators currently sit at the bottom of the table with one win and five losses, meanwhile Qalandars, are leading the points table with five wins and one loss. the last year’s champions are coming off a dominant 110-run win in their last match that was against Islamabad United, the joint-second highest victory margin in PSL history. Whereas, Gladiators previous match was also against United but with a very different result, as they lost by 63 runs.
Zalmi ease past Kings in match-17
Peshawar Zalmi defeated Karachi Kings by 24 runs in the 17th match of the ongoing PSL season at the Pindi Cricket Stadium in Rawalpindi on Wednesday, after Kings failed to chase the 198-run target having been restricted to 173-8 in 20 overs.
