Quetta Gladiators ease through Karachi Kings in sixth match
Quetta Gladiators won by six runs against Karachi Kings in match six at the National Bank Cricket Arena on Saturday, thanks to Martin Guptill’s remarkable century – the first of PSL 8.
Earlier, Gladiators set a 169-run target after Kings won the toss and chose to field first.
Quetta handed over Karachi their third straight defeat of the season as the 36-year-old New Zealander racked up the joint-second highest individual score in PSL history with 117 runs off 67 balls. Later on, Shoaib Malik made a praise-worthy 49-ball 71 fighting effort for Kings but could not save his team from defeat.
