Multan Sultans

Earlier this week, ownership of  Multan Sultans was finalised during a high-profile bidding event at the Expo Centre.

The contest intensified after Walee Technologies returned with a bid of PKR 2.45 billion, leading rival bidders CD Ventures to take a strategic pause before eventually pulling out.

With no further offers, the auctioneer declared Walee Technologies the successful bidder, granting them ownership of the franchise for the next decade.

PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi presented the ceremonial key to Walee representatives, who subsequently confirmed the team’s relocation from Multan to Rawalpindi.
