Openers Fakhar Zaman played a composed unbeaten fifty, carrying his bat through the innings with 58 not out off 47 deliveries. His knock was complemented by a late explosion from Daniel Sams, whose 15-ball 35 featuring five fours and a six provided the late fireworks needed to push Lahore over the line.

The Qalandars’ chase began shakily as Mohammad Naeem fell for 10 in the third over. Abdullah Shafique (25 off 11) and Charith Asalanka (33 off 26) built useful partnerships with Fakhar. Sikandar Raza then smashed 29 off just 11 balls before falling to a bizarre hit-wicket dismissal off Sufiyan Muqeem. However, Sams ensured no further hiccups, steering his team to 200/4 in 19.3 overs.

Earlier, Peshawar Zalmi posted 199/4 after being put in to bat. Michael Bracewell top-scored with a blistering 83 off 45 balls, featuring eight fours and six sixes. Captain Babar Azam contributed 59 off 45, while Iftikhar Ahmed remained unbeaten on 27. Shaheen Shah Afridi and Haris Rauf took two wickets each for Lahore, though Rauf conceded 46 runs in his four overs.
For Zalmi, Khurram Shahzad, Iftikhar Ahmed, Ali Raza, and Sufiyan Muqeem claimed one wicket each, but their combined effort could not defend the daunting chase target.
