ISLAMABAD: The 2025 edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) has sparked widespread interest, particularly due to its timing, as it overlaps with the Indian Premier League (IPL).

The PSL commenced on 11 April and is scheduled to conclude on 18 May, while the IPL runs from 23 March to 25 May.

This year, the PSL has made major strides in attracting global talent by significantly increasing player salaries.

In the Platinum category, the top-tier players are now earning between $220,000 and $300,000.

Leading the list is Australian opener David Warner, who secured a $300,000 deal with the Karachi Kings.

Other prominent names in the Platinum category include Shaheen Afridi, Shadab Khan, and Babar Azam, all of whom have landed lucrative contracts.
