PSL 10: Shaheen Afridi, Haris Rauf Join 300-Wicket Club in T20s

ISLAMABAD: Lahore Qalandars’ pace duo, Shaheen Shah Afridi and Haris Rauf, reached a major career milestone during their match against Islamabad United in the ongoing Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 10, as both became the latest Pakistani bowlers to claim 300 wickets in T20 cricket.

Shaheen reached the landmark in his 216th T20 appearance, becoming the fastest Pakistani and the fourth-fastest bowler worldwide to achieve 300 T20 wickets.

Haris Rauf was not far behind, completing the feat in his 228th match, making him the second-fastest Pakistani to reach the milestone.

Previously, the record for the fastest Pakistani to 300 T20 wickets was jointly held by Mohammad Amir and Wahab Riaz, who reached the figure in 256 innings apiece.

This accomplishment marks a significant individual and national achievement for both bowlers in the shortest format of the game.
